Guerrilla Primrose

I've been biking by this piece of guerrilla art for a few weeks and think it's so cool. When I got closer to snap a photo, I saw that it says "Forever ladybird," a reference to the passed queen of wildflowers. Not every day I see a pink evening primrose painted by urban artists on the side of a derelict building. Awesome.

That's something I miss. The Woodlands is like a Walt Disney version of a city.

I'd prefer it if it had more character ( or characters as the case may be. )

Hey Sister Bluebird. Does that make me Brother Grackle?

Love your blog and your photos. Wish I could see a bluebird here someday...

It could. Glad you stopped by for a spell. I know that name sounds really Protestant--1970s sort of Jesus Freak. Sort of takes you back to Summer Church Camp dont it? LOL I actually got that name from a song Star Ship Trooper by the band Yes. "Sister Bluebird, Flying High Above."

Right now I feel more like sister chicken-poop. I have to hurry and finish the chicken coop because those cute little chick puffs are growing feathers and occasionally leap out of their enclosure.

Someday when I am rich, I will be considered eccentric.

that's my sister in law's work. you can see more flowers around town. my favorite is on the empty florist shop on 2222 just before it splits to 35. she'll be thrilled to see you posted it.
