Woven Grass

On a recent trip in Seattle, we stumbled upon this landscape art project in Magnuson Park: french braided grass!

If your grass has grown a bit too long and you're looking for something new to do other than cut it with a lawnmower, this is an inspiring idea!

I had a Gotcha! moment when I realized it wasn't actually crop circles. Really neat stuff.

Very creative...I wonder who thought to do it?

They are beautiful, thanks a lot for sharing these. I found, that the braiding in crop circles is related to the pagan "Lammastide", the first harvest and crafts festival marking the beginning of the hearvest season: "Lammas/Lughnasadh is a day for honoring Lugh, the Celtic craftsman god."
