Scattered about Austin's East Side are these fascinating buildings. What is their history? I love the font and consistency in colors.

we bought the one next door to the Berna Arms. it had no name, but is identical to the others; we named it Harry Arms. we broke with the color scheme, but have every intention of matching the signage. just not there yet.
