The succulents in the garden were not doing so great this year during the summer, but they seem to have rebounded a bit with the cooler temps. I have a hard time providing them with the right kind of light and shade in the summer, and they always get scraggly and, well, dead. I'm happy to see their revitalization.
It IS hard to get the right kind of light for them in our climate. I find that dappled sun or morning sun is best in summer. Otherwise they fry.
