The anolis lizards have been really active in the garden lately, which is relieving because I thought they had abandoned us this year. I watched this one hopping among the branches of the desert willow catching flies. Super cute in his lime colored suit.
We installed this limestone flagstone path around the back because in this particular area the pea gravel has always been too deep and mushy. It was always hard to walk through and felt like walking through pluff mud or something. The limestone makes for a nice stroll back to the veggie beds and clothesline.
The key limes, framing this photo, are ripening up now. Sweet (and sour)!
