Witness: 8 tons of 6 in. x 8 in. white drystack limestone and 1 ton of 4 in. x 6 in. drystack. Just delivered to the house from Austin Landscape Supply (which, strangely, is in Georgetown) by my good man Ricky with his little toy.
Let the games begin.

My back is in pain just looking at those blocks. You are going to kill me with this project!
Whew, 8 tons, huh? I hope you'll show us the work in progress. I can't wait to see it.
Are you doing the rock work your self?
If you are, get your self a good furniture dolly and stack the rock two deep and up about three feet. You can move it much easier that way instead of a wheel barrow.
WOW! That is a LOT of rock! Be careful over there!
This is so exciting! It'll be a blast watching this happen. . .from a cool, air-conditioned distance. It's going to be gorgeous.
Just....wow. The scope, the weight, the heat... In combination it boggles the mind. Here's to your determination. It is going to be wonderful to watch your plan evolve into reality. You've got the most exciting game in town at the moment!
I love the look of that limestone rock. The new wall is going to look great in the front. It will be interesting to see the pictures of how you build it and how they fit together.
